Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms cover your use of the SpotlessBrowser website and Chrome extension (the "Service"). Installing the extension or using this website means you accept these Terms.
What the Service does
SpotlessBrowser clears browsing history, cookies, and cached data from your Chrome browser on request. It does not change your default search engine, homepage, or new tab settings, and it installs nothing beyond the extension itself.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use the extension for personal or business use, subject to these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or interfere with the extension's normal operation.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any data cleared at your own request.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Uninstalling
You can remove the extension at any time from Chrome's extension management page. Since we never store data about you, there's nothing further to delete on our end.
